Sardjono Kartono has more than three decades of leadership experience across Indonesia’s resources and agribusiness sectors. He brings strong commercial judgment, pragmatic leadership, and deep expertise in strengthening governance and operational performance within large-scale resource-based industries.
As Mining & Minerals President at EVerde, Sardjono oversees strategic direction, commercial and financial planning, people development, and project execution. Since joining in 2023, he has enhanced business performance through disciplined operational delivery, improved controllership, and robust decision-making frameworks that support EVerde’s expanding mining portfolio.
Before joining EVerde, Sardjono gained extensive experience in developing businesses in Indonesia, including over twenty years at a US$40 billion resources-based conglomerate in Singapore, where he previously served as Managing Director for Business Strategy, Finance, and Human Resources for the Kalimantan Palm and Fibre Business. His responsibilities included leading strategic planning, investment oversight, performance reviews, and managing operations in Kalimantan across palm, fibre, and coal ventures.
Sardjono holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. He was also awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in the year 2005.
